A whimsical topiary garden begun in 1994 by Edna Harper (Edna Scissorhands) with her gardener Pedro Duran. A unique San Diego landmark!

Always a fun stop. Itβs impressive to see what they can do with years of dedication to reshaping these bushes. I live not too far from the garden but I enjoy taking out of town folks to look at it. You canβt enter the property but you can see everything from the street, no problem. There is a nice free little library adjacent to it.

Such a fun and spontaneous adventure! Harperβs Topiary Garden is such a unique spot and immediately reminded me of something out of Edward Scissorhands. Definitely worth a stop if youβre in San Diego and want to see something different and memorable! πΏπΈ

I found out about this place while looking for hidden gems in San Diego and it did not disappoint! It was mind-blowingly detailed, vibrant, inspiring and artistic. Located in a really beautiful neighborhood and a great free stop for cool pictures and views. Very unique and obviously well cared for. Thank you, whoever is responsible for this amazing hedge/hill/house garden!
